February 26-28: Mini Vacation in Duluth

One of my favorite places to visit in this state happens to be Duluth. Nate and I spent four wonderful years there together and fell in love with the city. We go up every winter and ski at Spirit Mountain. We were excited to get away and take a break from house work.

On Friday, we went skiing with our good friend Amanda and then had half price appetizers at Applebees. We finished the night by warming up in the hot tub at the Radisson.

On Saturday, we ate breakfast at our favorite coffee shop in Duluth: Bixby's. We love the egg/sausage/pepper jack cheese on a bagel and the cinnamon and sugar bagel. We usually get both and share. Then Nate got his hair cut at his favorite place: BAM Style. Then we packed up our hotel and went skiing with Adam, Samantha, Alexa, Mitch, and Alek. The weather was beautiful and we had an awesome time skiing in sweatshirts. I had our camera and took some videos and pictures. Then we went back to our relatives' house, Dave and Louise, and had homemade chili. We sat around and talked for the rest of the evening and had a fabulous time.

On Sunday, we went to church and then ate at Pizza Luce. Then Adam, Sam, Alek, Nate and I went to Gooseberry Falls and explored. After that, we ate again at Betty's Pies.

It was a wonderful weekend; exactly what we needed. I love spending time with my siblings. We all get along well and have a blast together.
